Now that Christmas celebrations have come to an end for another year, and all the glitter baubles and accessories have been packed away, you may feel that your home is in need of refreshing.  Simply changing the layout of your space or adding some bright cushions can create an impact as does adding some colourful flowers to brighten up and scent your space. Terry’s fabrics does a huge selections of cushions bound to enhance a space.  You can even use your bright arrangement of flowers or a neutral palette of flowers with a uniquely shaped brightly coloured vase as an  accent colour in your space without the danger of overpowering your space.

Using accessories to refresh a space

Accessories are key interior design ingredients for adding character, drama and set the mood of a space , interior accessories are an excellent way of personalising your space.  Layering cushions on a chair or sofa minimises the space from appearing flat.  Accessories are a further method of adding accent colour, textures and interest within a space.

Try using specifically selected colours on a small-scale within one space or by continuing the same thread throughout additional spaces within your home or other environment such as an office to create continuity and liven up your spaces.

Mixing up your accessory selection creates an eclectic style, using new and existing accessories that you have around your home or office contributes further to giving you a distinct and unique personalised look.
